A construction worker installs green sheathing panels to the Anderson Lucchetti Women's and Children's Center.

Autumn is the time when leaves change colors, and this fall the Anderson Lucchetti Women’s and Children’s Center is changing color, too – to a bright green.

Construction crews are working at a brisk pace installing green glass-mat sheathing panels called SECUROCK in order to seal in the new hospital so work can continue on the interior during the winter months. These panels are guaranteed for up to 12 months of exposure to any type of weather. After the green panels are in place, construction crews will apply weatherproofing and then attach the final exterior siding to these sheathing panels as weather permits.

For more on SECUROCK, produced by building materials maker USG, go to their “Seeing Green” website at www.securockseegreen.com.
